Be a Winner!

September 3, 2007

Part of being a GTD guru and having a happy life is knowing when, and how, to have fun.  I LOVE going to carnivals.  The food is awesome (how do you think I keep my girlish figure?!) and the rides are fun.  I do not, however, like spending every last dollar I have in order to win a stuffed animal for my girlfriend that would normally cost me about $0.50 at the local MegaMart.  Thanks to LifeHacker and website Blifaloo, now you can “scam the scammers”!

Curiosity Helped The Cat

September 3, 2007

Because of the nature of my day-job, I have to be a curious individual (Okay, I don’t HAVE to be, but it helps in my line of work, and thankfully, it’s just my nature anyway).  The old saying “curiosity killed the cat” may have a good moral point in there somewhere, but most times it’s just dead wrong.  Think of all the discoveries that have been made simply because someone was curious..

Hard Habit to Make

September 3, 2007

I am NOT a morning person.  I never have been, and most likely never will be.  However, because of the nature of blogs and when the average reader is perusing them, I can’t keep my normal vampire-like schedule.  All is not lost, however.  Waking up is (apparently) just another habit you can train yourself to do.

Keeping It All Together

September 3, 2007

Everyone is busy these days. Be it work, school, family or any combination of the three, we all have strains on our time and attention.  It can be somewhat daunting to try and keep it all together and not let the small things fall through, but it is possible.  With a little organization and some discipline, it can actually be done pretty easily.

“Me” time can be a prized commodity in a corporate environment, but did you know that in addition to being a blessing to you, it can also help the organization? It can, and Kelly Forrester tells you how.
