Have a Little Understanding

September 6, 2007

A lot of the conflicts that we have in our personal and professional relationships wouldn’t happen if we all (and yes, I am including myself in this statement) had a little more understanding.  Not just understanding what the person is trying to tell you, but understanding the person, as well as the situation fully before forming opinions or jumping to conclusions.  C’mon, can’t we all just get along?!

Find Your Fountain of Youth

September 6, 2007

Ahhh, to be young. Wait, I am young. Okay… Ahhh, to stay young. Anyway. The desire to be, or stay young runs through all of us, it’s part of that survival instinct. Being young isn’t necessarily and age issue, however. There are certain mindsets, goals, and daily activities that make us young, no matter how old the DMV tries to tell us we are.

iGoogle FTW!

September 6, 2007

(That’s “For The Win”, by the way) I started using iGoogle almost the second (okay, so it was a day or two) it came out, and I instantly fell in love with it.  Every computer I own and/or use on a regular basis has iGoogle as the start page.  There is SO much stuff that you can do with it, that a person could never (okay, most-likely-never) get bored with it.  Add to that the growing list of GTD, personal organization and productivity apps coming out almost daily, and it just keeps getting better.
